National Sibling’s Day Pitch

Hi xxxx,

Hope you’re well! With National Siblings Day (April 10th) right around the corner, we’d love to share how sibling-duo, Sam and Steve Remboldt, sucessfully operate Copa Vida as partners in business. Knowing each other inside and out creates an unmatched level of trust and understanding. This dynamic duo understands that open communication and respecting each other's strengths are key. For them, working together doesn't just mean getting the job done – it deepens their bond. I invite you to read the information I've provided on Sam and Steve below.

  • Sam Remboldt knows the unique challenges of growing up in a family dedicated to coffee production. As a teenager, Sam spent weekends working the fields and tending to the coffee beans, while her friends were socializing. Now, she plays a crucial role alongside her brother Steve in realizing their father's dream for Copa Vida. Her responsibilities include making key decisions in areas like branding, managing distributor relationships, determining coffee bean production volumes, and handling direct-to-consumer sales. Additionally, she is in charge of some aspects of hiring and marketing, and represents Copa Vida at coffee industry events.

  • Previously based in San Francisco with a career in hotel management, Steve Remboldt always cherished his regular visits to Copa Vida, which felt like a second home. He loves the tranquility and the sense of community and fondly remembers exploring its fields, plantations, and natural landscapes as a kid. In the summer of 2016, Steve left his hospitality career to pursue his passion for coffee. While his main focus is on the national sales of Copa Vida, you can still find him lending a hand in making coffee or engaging with visitors.

Running a coffee roastery takes dedication, but Sam and Steve have tackled the challenge together. They're a dynamic duo making a name for themselves in the coffee world. Their story celebrates the power of sibling bonds – they're built-in support systems, the ones who'll always be there to offer a helping hand.

Please let me know your thoughts and any questions.

Best,
Eric Auzenne
